Title IX law requires that colleges and universities identify "responsible employees" to report any sexual misconduct to the Title IX coordinator. Responsible employees can also be called "campus reporters". The assignment of who is a campus reporter can vary from institution to institution. The Clery Act also has requirements for the reporting of crime and crime statistics.
